Yet fluency-without-effort has a cost: the incentive to actually learn languages weakens, and with language learning goes a certain depth of cultural understanding that translation cannot carry. Authenticity Under Pressure
When AI polishes our messages, everyone becomes articulate — and articulateness stops signaling anything.
